I just came across this illustration (The Artist) by Australian artist Norman Lindsay (1879 – 1969), thanks to
Irony and Pie's comment on my
mermaid post, and it reminded me of one by
Michael Parkes (Below) so I thought I'd put them both up for comparative purposes.
